Objective

The Micro Cap Growth strategy invests with the objective of long-term growth of capital. 70-90 equities are selected from a universe of micro cap U.S. companies.

Investment Philosophy & Process

Harlingwood believes earnings drive stock prices. The goal of the bottom-up investment process is early identification of companies that are positioned to experience accelerating growth fundamentals. The Micro Cap Growth Strategy identifies companies that possess the following characteristics:

  • Improving Growth Fundamentals.
  • Well Positioned Product(s) and Excellent Management Team.
  • Attractive Technical and Valuation Characteristics.

The investment process identifies positive inflection points in companies through the early discovery of catalysts that lead to sales acceleration and ultimately earnings acceleration. Product differentiation is reviewed to discover gains in market share or increases in production. An understanding of the depth and experience of key management and personnel is another factor in the process.
