Founded in 1991, Delta Asset Management is an institutional investment manager located in Los Angeles, California. The division provides investment management services to a variety of private and public funds, some of which have been with Delta for over 20 years. The team specializes in active, core investing through the same disciplined investment philosophy that it engendered over two decades ago.
Investment Philosophy
Change is the primary principle of Delta’s Large Cap investment philosophy. The approach is designed to identify positive change that will result in earnings acceleration and valuation improvement. Delta looks for investment catalysts from one or more of the following:.

Delta’s Large Cap Core strategy is a diversified portfolio of large cap, growth and value companies domiciled in the United States. The portfolio is usually structured with 100-110 stocks, and is typically exposed to all 10 economic sectors. |

Delta’s Concentrated Core strategy was designed as a concentrated version of its Large Cap Core approach. The portfolio is based upon the same change based investment philosophy, but is not limited by the same constraints. The portfolio is typically structured with 35-50 stocks, and may or may not be exposed to all 10 economic sectors. |
Investment Team
Delta utilizes a team approach to investing with all four members of the portfolio management team participating in each aspect of the investment management process. The team utilizes structured and informal collaborative efforts to review research and generate new ideas.
